After a disappointing result at the Rec against Wasps, Stuart Hooper's men returned to the Rec with one thing in their mind - a bonus-point win!
Bath Rugby secured the vital bonus-point in the first-half with four tries scored inside 40 minutes by Tom Ellis, Elliott Stooke, Jack Walker and Tom de Glanville.
Further scores from Elliott Stooke and a UNREAL solo effort from Josh Matavesi stretched the lead after the break. After wins from playoff rivals Wasps, Sale and Bristol, the important 5 points ensured Bath kept up the pressure on the Premiership Rugby top 4.
Worcester came out of the gates flying, scoring an early try from Billy Searle, before Tom Ellis crossed the line for the Blue, Black and White 2 minutes later. Elliott Stooke, Jack Walker and Tom de Glanville than ensured Bath were in the driving seat at the half-time whistle.
Bath Rugby Academy products Kieran Verden and Orlando Bailey were both brought on to earn their full debuts for the Club, starting what is an exciting future in the Blue, Black and White. In addition, new signing Juan Schoeman also made his first appearance since his move from South Africa.
Ex-Worcester player Josh Matavesi then produced the play of the match, with an incredible solo try. Throwing another outrageous dummy and breaking through two tackles, the Fijian international was able to accelerate down the middle and touch down between the sticks.
